Hailing from the humble town of Bradford, but currently in living in Guelph, (all four of the boys study robotics at the local university), Burn Planetarium is a band even the shyest robots can't help but dance to. With their unique commixture of Post Punk guitars, Dancepunk drumming, and "indie-ish" melodies, Burn Planetarium have become daft musical pirates, taking everything they love about their favorite bands, and then blending them together....and then changing them slightly so that no one will ever know...Inspired primarily by the music of Don Johnson, Joey Lawrence, and Mini Driver (in that order), Burn Planetarium just loves to get jangly whenever possible. Melody and aggression meet again. Landing somewhere along the much established punk umbrella of genres, Caulfield offers a thoughtful take on the relationship between high power melody and aggressive hardcore. Described by Ontariopunk.com as “emotionally high octane punk,” Caulfield combines rich guitar and vibrant vocals, with heavy, driven drum and bass. Combining speedy, slow and punchy music, Caulfield creates a musical ambiance that can be appreciated on many different levels. Most important to the band, Caulfield thrives on playing live. They are not only musically concise, but energetic and fun. Caulfield has already shared the stage with such acts as Ten Foot Pole, The Getaway, The Reason and Farewell to Freeway. The band’s debut EP, “The Caulfield EP” awaits you. The EP consists of 5 solid tracks recorded at the Sound Lounge in Milton. Dedication and energy are the bands two primary virtues. For Fans of Pureblank, UnderOATH, Atreyu, Thrice, In Flames, Hopesfall, etc. firefly; a word both familiar yet exotic. Words almost always show their limitations when attempting to describe music. Nevertheless, it is what we are left with when the genuine article is not readily at hand. firefly, is a standard trio: guitar, bass, and drums. However, there is little that is standard about them. They function eloquently as a unit, yet are much more than the sum of their parts.
firefly continues the introspective and uniquely Canadian tradition of performers like the Rheostatics, Cowboy Junkies, and Neil Young without compromising their fresh, original approach to song writing.
The cumulative effect of this union calls upon these respective influences while managing to achieve something that would be impossible individually; firefly.

Soulful and melodic acoustic solo singer/songwriter. The lead vocalist of the barmitzvah brothers, Jenny's solo set is just her and an omnichord. It may sound annoying, it's kind of personal preference. She sings (mostly) fictional songs about love, drinking, and birthdays. Contact us if you can tickle the ivories. we’re really just kids. that’s all. we live in the suburbs and our lives have been perfect but we still complain cause its our god given right. we scream from our basements and our neighbours don’t mind hopefully too much. we are selfish and our music reflects that cause the songs go on for too long and probably bore people to death. anyways insert rock cliche here. we play what we like and its probably all just tired old copies of our favourite songs but we like it anyways i guess otherwise we would just give up. we pull nonsense out of instruments and scribble furiously like it’ll save our pale skins and it’ll do something to reverse the slide we find ourselves in. this is not a band bio. i tried to write one but now its all hopeless. Six counts of eight to make the day go faster. Three counts one to slow down the nighty night. So don't count the twelve until morning because nonebody can't understand. Anthony Ferreira, Luke Michielsen and Matt Comper used to play in an outfit called Neeve, until the band was kidnapped by Slowking (the exiled ruler of the planet Slowgan). The talented musicians have no choice but to play whatever the all powerful Slowking wishes. Slowking's intentions are unclear but his garments and general persona seem to suggest he is highly influenced by Imperialism, and that he was an evil ruler of his former home. It is a constant stuggle for the bandmates to comply to their captor's wishes but they are motivated and perhaps one day their plight will make them one of the strongest musical forces in the universe. A blend of country, rock and blues make GMOs music a little hard to define. But it's easy to enjoy, and even easier to identify as Canadian, owing to strong influences from the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young and Blue Rodeo. A mix of tasteful keyboard trills, edgy slide guitar riffs, booming bass, solid rhythms and smooth vocals give the GMOs their flavour.
The GMO set lists include a mix of original material and eclectic covers of songs from the Tragically Hip, Cheap Trick, The Beatles, Hank Williams Sr. and Gordon Lightfoot.
